About Me

I am a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist in Maine. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology at Penn State University. After a year of working for a telephone hotline helping parents understand how to obtain special education services for their children in Pennsylvania, I decided a career in working with children would be my future. Though I could have gone to other colleges or universities, I excitedly returned to Penn State to pursue my doctoral degree in school psychology. After finishing coursework and practicum experiences, I completed a predoctoral internship at a suburban school district outside of Philadelphia. From there I spent two years as a school psychologist at a rural school district in Michigan while also working on my doctoral dissertation. Though I primarily grew up in Pennsylvania, two formative years during middle school were spent in Rhode Island where I fell in love with New England. Maine always held a special place in my heart after spending many vacations here as a child. When the opportunity arose to move to Maine, I jumped at the chance. For the past 20 years I have contracted with local school districts in Maine to provide psychological evaluations for K -12 students experiencing autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
